A renovation of a restaurant on the ground floor of an office building, a five-minute walk from Shinagawa Station.

When you cross Mitatebashi Bridge from Konan 4-chome, where there are many residents, towards Shinagawa Station, you can see the kitchen through the glass curtain wall, and we wanted the kitchen to be the center of the lively restaurant.

Although it is located in a neat office building of iron, glass, and concrete, we used materials such as natural solid wood and textured plaster and fabric to absorb light and sound, creating a space where you can relax. The counter made of a single piece of horse chestnut and the hanging wall of plaster with marble aggregate in front of the kitchen act like a frame for the stage, highlighting the chefs working inside.

The light, sound, air, and materials are adjusted to the right roughness, and the restaurant appeals to all five senses, including sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, allowing you to enjoy seasonal dishes created by chefs with various personalities.
