Engawa Terrace Houses
We renovated old wooden terrace house. By removing the existing outside wall, the site is opened to alleys, and we made engawa which can be used by local people. Besides, by enlarging the opening of the 1st floor, the inside space can be actively used for purposes other than housing. We aimed for young people to flow into this aging area and be connected to the local community through alleys.
